The successful candidate will be part of a manufacturing assembly team at our McKinney TX location that is involved with microelectronic components.
What You Will Do
Manual assembly tasks solder operating semi and automated processing equipment operating ovens using a microscope to perform and inspect work
Sit and stand for prolonged period
Follow detailed written work instructions using our Factory Operating System (FOS) create nonconformances in FOS and performing rework.
Individual will have annual training requirements in topics ranging from safety hazardous materials quality systems and other topics.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational / technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Experience working in a microelectronics manufacturing environment; preferably in the aerospace or defense industry sector.
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract
Qualifications We Prefer
Solder experience to Military and / or ANSI / J standards is highly desired
Microelectronic assembly experience
Strong safety focus
Positive attitude and teaming skills needed.
Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement.
A successful candidate would be able to accomplish daily work tasks with a minimum of supervision.
Job duties require hand / finger dexterity and attention to detail.
The candidate must have basic computer and math skills.
Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Must be able to communicate effectively multitask and be flexible with the work as needed.
Able to perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established proven process and to perform inprocess inspection in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
Effective time management skills are a must.
