Qualifications

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Ability to learn new software and interfaces quickly.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial technology preferred.

What does a Production Maintenance Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?
In the production plant the Maintenance Technicianperformsa varietyof general facility maintenance. The production environment is operational 24/7 so the technician is responsible to maintain, repair, disassemble andtroubleshoot complex equipment in charge of production processes. There is high speedautomatedproductionmachinery, and other manufacturing equipment.

Job Details:
Pay: $21.84- 33.60/hr
Location: This will be at our Bellevue, WA plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and other issues and making necessary repairs to production and facility equipment to maximize efficiencies
  • Complete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAP
  • Participate in rebuilds and overhauls on production line and support equipment
  • Assist with parts management by ensuring parts are checked out of stock and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts Planner
  • Provide consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reports
  • Support the Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) process by participating in established routines with production operators and following up on top causes of downtime
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow established safety, quality and environmental policies, practices, and programs
  • Operate withtechnical skill the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system. This is for inventory and production line operational excellence
  • Clean tools, parts and equipment after line rebuilds/repairs/maintenance
  • Install new equipment as necessary and provide technical expertise to train and support production with a continued desire for leansupply chainprocess initiatives and improvement
  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed
  • Quality reviews of equipment assignedto maintain safety and performance standards

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
  • Trade School certified preferred
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Welding and Fabrication experience
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
  • Ability to learn new software and interfaces quickly.Strong computer skills
  • Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Plumbing, Welding,Fabrication, docks and doors, security systems
  • Production Facility repairs as assigned
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, production operators, and industrial technology preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Base pay range is $21.84- $33.60/hrplus bonus structure (dependent on role) . Pay offered will depend on candidate’s geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.

Employees and families offered Medical, Dental, Vision; Union pension with employer contributions; Sick pay awarded at 1 hour per 40 hours work, annually 7 paid holidays plus up to 2 floating holidays; Vacation of 40 hours available next calendar year; Eligible for paid Bereavement and Jury Duty.
