Job summary

PhytogenX, Inc. is seeking a Production Mechanic for 2nd Shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Mon–Fri) at our FDA-regulated facility producing personal care and beauty products. You’ll keep production equipment running safely and efficiently to deliver high-quality products.

You’ll join a temperature-controlled plant with opportunities for advancement, weekly team activities, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Prior manufacturing experience and knowledge of cGMPs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment and production line issues to minimize downtime.
• Performing repairs and adjustments to maintain peak equipment performance.
• Assisting with preventive maintenance programs and equipment upkeep.
• Coordinating maintenance activities with the Maintenance Manager.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Supporting a safe and organized work environment.
• Collaborating with production teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Promoting teamwork and helping create a positive workplace culture.
• Following all PPE and safety requirements.

What You'll Do

As a Production Mechanic, you'll play a key role in keeping our production equipment operating safely and efficiently so our teams can deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical experience in a manufacturing, food & beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical environment
• Experience working with production equipment such as:
  • Labelers
  • Fillers
  • Tube machines
  • Heat tunnels
  • Wrappers
  • Coders
• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency
• Effective communication skills in English
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities
