PhytogenX, Inc. is hiring a Production Mechanic for the 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday–Friday) at our FDA-regulated facility producing personal care and beauty products. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment (cosmetic/pharmaceutical or similar) preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Willingness to work on 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:45 PM) and support a safe, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and production line issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform repairs and adjustments to maintain peak equipment performance.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and equipment upkeep.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow SOPs and cGMPs to ensure product quality and safety.
• Promote teamwork and assist with maintaining a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshooting equipment and production line issues to minimize downtime
• Performing repairs and adjustments to maintain peak equipment performance
• Assisting with preventive maintenance programs and equipment upkeep

• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical experience in a manufacturing, food & beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical environment

Experience Working With Production Equipment Such As

• Labelers
• Fillers
• Tube machines
• Heat tunnels
• Wrappers

Coders

• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency
• Effective communication skills in English
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities
