Job description

In this role as a Bio-Rad Production Maintenance Mechanic, you will provide proactive completion of scheduled PM work orders, respond to work orders when items need repair, support manufacturing across all production lines and departments, and maintain good housekeeping practices.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Work collaboratively with department colleagues in full support of production operators.
  • Minimize unscheduled equipment downtime through effective triage, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
  • Complete preventative maintenance activities per established procedures and schedules.
  • Provide complete and accurate documentation of work performed to demonstrate compliance with QMS.
  • Offer full-time, onsite support of manufacturing activities.

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma required; technical training/certification preferred.
  • 5+ years working with electro/mechanical systems, high-speed filling and packaging line repair experience, and/or automated equipment preferred.
  • Critical spare parts inventory management experience required.
  • Experience in highly-regulated manufacturing environments such as medical device, aerospace, military, or pharmaceutical preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with internal colleagues and external equipment support resources such as factory service agents and supply houses.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and ability to navigate computerized maintenance management and documentation control programs.

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate is $32.00 to $43.65, with actual compensation provided at the time of offer based on location, experience, and other factors. The position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
