MAYEKAWA USA INC in Katy, TX is seeking a capable Maintenance Technician to oversee the performance and maintenance of all production machinery.

You will perform preventive maintenance, record labor hours and parts in the maintenance management system, and identify root causes of breakdowns.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, safe operation of forklifts, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
• Commercial electrical experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to operate forklifts and heavy machinery.
• Three+ years as Production Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment or equivalent experience.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Knowledge of electrical systems preferred.
• Experience with maintenance software (eMaint) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Uses maintenance management software to record labor hours, work activities, and parts used.
• Identifies root causes of unexpected breakdowns to prevent recurrence.
• Repairs broken machinery quickly, efficiently, and safely.
• Cleans, inventories, and maintains shop areas, tools, and supplies.
• Follows lockout/tagout procedures and safety rules 100% of the time.
• Able to fabricate or modify equipment safely when needed.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
