Bellmont Cabinets in Sumner, WA is seeking an Edgeband Operator to join our Machining Department. You will apply edge banding to cabinet components, verify quality, and maintain machines and work area in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on edge banding and CNC work, with a swing shift from 1:45pm to 11:15pm. We value craftsmanship, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Prior edge banding or CNC machining experience preferred; comprehensive training provided.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; heavier lifts require team assistance.
• Able to read production schedules, job cards, computer interfaces and small barcodes.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply edge banding to cabinet components for a polished finish.
• Clean and maintain your machine and work area for safety and quality.
• Verify barcodes and quality of each piece before moving to next production stage.
• Meet daily and weekly production goals while upholding quality standards.

QualificationsWhat You Bring

• Prior edge banding or CNC machining experience, ideally in cabinetry, wood products, or custom furniture, is a plus. However, your eagerness to learn and strong work ethic are what truly matter. We’re committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
• Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, computer interfaces and small barcodes.
• A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team‑first attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
