Job summary

Bellmont Cabinets in Sumner, WA seeks a detail-oriented Machining Finish Team Lead to help organize workflow, prioritize daily tasks, and keep production moving toward daily build goals. This role focuses on coordinating work and supporting the team without direct personnel decisions, ensuring cabinets are built accurately and on time.

You’ll use the job management app to track progress, assist with training, uphold quality, and partner with the department supervisor to address issues.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of production or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience coordinating workflow and assigning work.
  • Experience with CNC machines/edgebanders preferred.
  • Ability to organize workflow and track daily tasks.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Machining Finish Team Lead

Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Team Lead to join our high-performing Machining Finish Department. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at organizing workflow, coordinating daily tasks, and keeping production moving efficiently toward daily build goals. You’ll support the team by helping prioritize work, track progress, and ensure cabinets are built accurately and on time.

This is not a supervisory role. You won’t handle personnel decisions or performance management. Your focus is coordinating work, supporting the team, and helping keep production running smoothly while maintaining the quality and efficiency standards our Machining Finish Department is known for.

Qualifications
What You Bring
  • 1 year of production or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience coordinating workflow, assigning work, or supporting a production team preferred.
  • Experience working with CNC machines, edgebanders, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Ability to organize workflow, track job orders, and support accurate completion of daily production tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report issues or concerns.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively support and train team members.
  • Capable of remaining calm and composed under pressure while adapting to changing production demands.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and comfort using job management software and production schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities while having a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to adapt in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
