Nitterhouse Masonry Products, LLC in Chambersburg seeks a Machine Operator to run manufacturing machines on the concrete production line, inspect products, and help meet daily production goals. You will use basic computer skills and collaborate with the team to keep operations efficient.

Responsibilities include periodic equipment checks, reporting issues, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety rules while ensuring quality control throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to learn various machines and take instruction from supervisor and experienced operators.
• Ability to work and communicate well with others in a fast-paced production environment.
• Dependable, detail-oriented and quality driven; teamwork and safety-focused attitude.
• Ability to read/write/understand English.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing machines with basic computer skills.
• Work on concrete production line, pulling defective product and placing finished products on pallets.
• Work with team members to complete daily production goals.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report suspected problems to supervisor.
• Inspect product for quality control issues.
• Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery as needed.
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
• Clean machine properly as necessary and maintain a clean working environment.
