Pepsi Bottling Ventures is the nation’s largest private bottler and distributor of Pepsi beverages. It is based in NC, SC, MD, & DE.
Operates and monitors high speed machinery while complying with production and safety standards.
High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment, with the ability to multi‑task and troubleshoot; critical thinking skills are necessary. Interfaces with Allen Bradley PLC controller and touch screen devices. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. This position is 40 plus hours per week, Memorial Day through Labor Day; frequently will work on Saturdays and Sundays in the summer. Possible flex shifts of 12 hour days. Must be able to successfully complete the forklift certification, as applicable.
Production lines are controlled by PLC controllers which require critical thinking to troubleshoot problems. Workstations are repetitive yet variable in nature due to the different products and package configurations. Variability is moderate to high depending on volume demands.
Constantly (67%-100%) required to stand. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
Manufacturing equipment. Must understand and be able to use laptops, HMIs, tablets. Must be able to enter data into the system, and interpret data sent to the workstation. Must understand the mechanical aspects of each piece of equipment.

Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English proficiently.
