Job Description

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic B (2nd Shift) to oversee and perform repairs on production facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to DC equipment and controls.
• Understand and troubleshoot issues related to electrical three‑phase systems.
• Perform equipment installation and welding.
• Record work performed on provided forms.
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Identify parts needed and maintain an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
• Perform equipment changeovers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience.
• One (1) to three (3) years of PLC troubleshooting experience.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience with electrical – such as three‑phase.
• Maintenance troubleshooting experience.
• Three (3) years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years of experience with pneumatics.
• Knowledge of fabricating, electrical, pneumatics, welding, and rigging.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Fluent troubleshooting techniques.
• Good machine shop skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work the hours required to complete assigned tasks.
