Pepsi Bottling Ventures is the nation’s largest private bottler and distributor of Pepsi beverages based in NC, SC, MD, & DE.

Job Description

Effectively operates all the necessary equipment and/or machinery required for self‑manufactured bottled water and/or still beverage. This position serves as a combination of QC tech, blow‑fill operator, and/or injection‑molding operator and must be well versed in all aspects of the line they operate.

Responsibilities

• Operates the blow mold filler, the bottle labeler, and the shrink‑film packager or injection‑molding lines, regrind, dryers, and blenders.
• Completes internal and external sanitation.
• Monitors the production line for beverage/preform quality by performing line quality checks and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Samples product hourly and daily, reports and records results as required to maintain certification.
• Drives a stand‑up/sit‑down forklift.
• Sets up lines and changes package and product as necessary.
• Conducts light general and preventative maintenance to ensure machines operate properly.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High school or equivalent and two (2) years’ experience in light maintenance/preventive maintenance, machine change‑over, production line operation, quality controls, and lab work.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Analytical thinking.
• Good hand‑eye coordination.
• Self‑motivated with strong initiative.
• Follows established procedures without deviation.
