Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Simi Valley, CA

Duration: 06 Months contract

Shift: 2nd shift (3:00pm - Midnight)

Job Designation

Under direct supervision, the Production Machine Operator I performs straightforward tasks and operates routine production equipment and machinery. Ensures the maintenance of a safe work environment with an ultimate goal of zero accidents.

Job Core Responsibilities

• Performs setup, operation, and routine maintenance of production machinery and test equipment
• Uses documents such as job travelers, blueprints, schematics, models, or specifications to perform work
• Troubleshoots machines not at peak performance and finds solutions to problems
• Ensures adequate stock of raw materials and performs scheduled equipment maintenance
• Verifies that production items meet tolerances and specifications outlined in documentation
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance; may work nights, weekends, and additional hours as necessary

Job Specifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant education and experience preferred

Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or related experience

Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
