About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will safely operate equipment in our machine shop to complete high-quality production runs.

We are open to training a beginner who has a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude! However, candidates who possess basic blueprint reading or measuring skills will be highly considered.

What You Will Do (Key Duties)

• Equipment Operation: Load raw materials, safely cycle machines, and unload finished parts during production runs.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools to ensure they meet specifications.
• Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform basic machine care to ensure safe operation.
• Safety First: Follow all shop safety guidelines and look out for the safety of your team members.

What We Require (Must-Haves)

• Safety Mindset: A strict commitment to following all safety rules and wearing standard Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.).
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods during an 8-hour shift and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability: Dependable attendance and a strong desire to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Skills (A Plus, But Not Required)

• Experience reading mechanical drawings or basic blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, or gauges).
• Previous experience in a machine shop environment.
