Production - Machine Operator

PrideStaff is proud to partner with a prominent company in the Arden area that is seeking a Machine Operator to assist in manufacturing and production.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime.

The role involves performing production activities that require operating machinery and equipment, understanding the production process, and meeting the company's quality goals to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is focused and attentive, has basic PC knowledge, experience operating machinery in a production and assembly setting, is eager to learn, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks essential to manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and understand operator work instructions.
2. Operate CNC mills or lathes, including changing tool offsets and tool changes.
3. Operate equipment according to instructions, ensuring safe operation.
4. Inspect small part features.
5. Maintain and report production counts.
6. Keep a clean and safe work area.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail, good vision for close-up details, and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to understand basic instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain mental and visual concentration during machine cycles and inspections.
• Constant attention to prevent injury and equipment damage.
• Ability to stand, reach, twist, and move hands repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Professionalism, a good work ethic, eagerness to learn, and being a quick learner.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Careful listening and reading to follow instructions and procedures.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 30 lbs.
• Work environment may be dusty, loud, and uncomfortable, with exposure to moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, solvents, and coolants.

PrideStaff Associates must meet the following requirements:

• Be over 18 years old with proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $23.00
