Job description

Job Title: Production Helper

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K

Shift: TBD

Pay: $26.96 per hour

Shift Differential: $0.40 (2:15pm – 10:15pm), $0.45 (10:15pm – 6:15am)

The Production Helper assists Production Associates with operating equipment, supporting production activities, and maintaining clean work areas. Responsibilities include:

Job Duties:

1. Learn and master four distinct job functions as directed by the Operations Manager. Pay increases are provided upon successful sign-off on each job, applicable only when performing the job (excluding training).
2. Follow all safety guidelines: complete monthly safety training, use PPE, understand MSDS, follow job safety analysis procedures, and adhere to LOTO rules.
3. Commit to a minimum of one year in the position.
4. Operate machinery or assist machine operators in the production process.
5. Monitor equipment for malfunctions and notify operators as needed.
6. Perform equipment maintenance such as cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating.
7. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, machines, and equipment.
8. Adhere to daily production schedules.
9. Use elevator loads and procedures for moving products.
10. Handle defective products for reprocessing.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead.

Job Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Less than 1 year of related experience or equivalent training/education.
3. Ability to pass background check, employment verification, and drug screening.
4. Positive, verifiable work history.

Physical Demands:

1. Frequently push, pull, carry, and lift 20-75 lbs.
2. Occasionally walk, stand, stretch, bend, stoop, twist, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive movements.
3. Work in moderate noise levels up to 83 decibels.
