We are seeking an experienced Production Line Supervisor to lead dynamic teams at our high-energy aerosol manufacturing facility. This critical role involves overseeing front-line manufacturing staff and ensuring safety, quality, and maximum efficiency across multiple production lines.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Closely monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are consistently achieved.
  • Strategically plan and coordinate production activities to maintain schedule adherence, maximize output, and optimize labor resources.
  • Prepare production lines meticulously according to work order specifications.
  • Complete assigned Standard Work tasks with precision.
  • Coordinate off-line production when necessary.
  • Review work orders thoroughly for accuracy and completeness before and after each production run.
  • Accurately report used components, production scrap, and work order data.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments regarding schedules, production status, defective materials, and inventory management.
  • Set clear team goals that meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Assign tasks strategically to drive performance and foster continuous improvement.
  • Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures consistently.
  • Train, coach, and motivate employees to reach their full potential.
  • Track training progress using our LMS program.
  • Proactively assess team performance and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement.
  • Foster and maintain a safe work environment, prioritizing the well-being of all production associates.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses and implement effective corrective actions to prevent safety incidents.
  • Take on additional assigned duties as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Proficient with computers and data entry, ensuring accurate information flow.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, accountability, and the ability to build trust within the team.
  • Strong analytical skills to swiftly identify and resolve manufacturing process issues.
  • Ability to work independently and take a hands-on approach to leading assigned production lines.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Fast-paced production setting with seasonal temperature variations.
  • Noise and dust are commonplace.
Physical Demands:
  • Primarily standing and walking; occasional bending and lifting (up to 25 lbs.).
  • Capacity to climb stairs and ladders as needed.
