Job summary

ACH Food Companies, Inc. in Summit, IL is seeking an Operator Relief to provide coverage for absent or missing team members and to cover break schedules on the Argo Plant production lines.

The role involves performing duties of various team members, assisting with quality checks, maintaining supplies, and keeping the work area clean and organized, with opportunities for growth within a cooperative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Ability to follow written and oral communications.
• Ability to act independently within responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Relieve absent or missing team members and cover all breaks as instructed by Supervisor.
• Perform duties of each team member for relief position.
• Assist in conducting quality control checks.
• Maintain inventories of glue, caps, labels, and TE bands for line operations.
• Supply labels on Canadian and Pint Syrup lines to Operators.
• Keep immediate area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
