Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Production Line Plumber/Brazer at the G&D Chillers facility in Junction City, Oregon. You will assemble piping systems for industrial refrigeration equipment, braze piping, and install components in a safety‑minded, quality‑driven environment.

This full‑time, site‑based role requires mechanical aptitude, tool proficiency, and the ability to read drawings. Expect a hands-on position with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble copper and steel piping systems for industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare tubing and pipe according to specifications.
• Braze refrigeration piping using proper techniques and established safety procedures.
• Install valves, fittings, compressors, heat exchangers, and related components.
• Read and follow mechanical drawings, piping layouts, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Inspect completed work for leaks, accuracy, and proper installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement activities.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

The Production Line Plumber Brazer assembles industrial piping systems used in industrial refrigeration equipment. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, careful workmanship, and a consistent commitment to safety, quality, and accurate installation.
