Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking a production operator to run and troubleshoot manufacturing lines, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will work with teammates to maintain clean, stocked lines and support continuous improvement initiatives across shifts.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, managing scrap, communicating issues to supervisors, and contributing to a safe, productive environment. Physical tasks include lifting up to 80 lbs and standing long hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One-year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computer entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and manage scrap while maintaining high productivity.
• Run efficient production lines and troubleshoot to ensure products meet quality specs.
• Keep production lines and floor clean, stocked, and ready for the incoming shift.
• Communicate problems or needs with supervisor, assistant supervisor, and team members.
• Work with the team to improve efficiency, troubleshoot issues, and implement better solutions.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Occasional lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 80 lbs; standing for long periods.
