Prysmian Sedalia is seeking a Machine Operator to produce quality cable products, meeting work order specifications and safety standards. You will input data into a Machine Center, perform setups and changeovers, and relocate materials as needed to keep production flowing.

We value a solid work history in manufacturing, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Benefits start day one, with retirement and health options available after probation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Solid, stable work history with previous industrial experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic math, reading and comprehension of work instructions, and use of a computer.
• Participate in safety/quality/production improvement activities.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Input information into a Machine Center computer and verify for accuracy.
• Perform setups, changeovers, reel changes and material relocations as required.
• Follow safety guidelines with daily safety startup checks and ongoing safety checks.
