Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of production plant experience preferred.
• Able to identify materials, detail oriented, and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to read English and follow directions.
• Physically capable to lift 50 pounds and stand all day.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer controlled production system for multiple ingredients.
• Solve daily operations problems with limited supervision.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the assigned area.
• Complete daily job checklists and equipment calibrations.
• Maintain records of raw materials, samples, and equipment operations.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Perform safety audits on equipment.
• Set up machines at the beginning of shift and recalibrate as needed.
• Monitor machines during procedures to ensure optimum running and quality.
• Troubleshoot machine issues during operation.
• Maintain activity logs/downtime sheets.
