Job summary

Johnson Electric in Vandalia, Ohio, is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You’ll be at the forefront of assembling precision components, ensuring quality, and supporting efficient production operations on a full-time, day-shift schedule.

You’ll read and interpret process specifications, routers, and drawings, set up equipment such as lead cutting machines, and perform measurements with good dexterity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent manual dexterity are important.
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to interpret drawings and process specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to handle small parts, tools, and machinery with precision
