Join to apply for the Production Line Operator role at Johnson Matthey.

This position involves inspection, loading, boxing, packaging, labeling, and other tasks required in the manufacturing process of diesel catalysts. The role requires completing tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Process Control Engineer to meet manufacturing and customer requirements according to production plans.

Your responsibilities:

• Comply with JM Health and Safety policies at all times, including Life Saving Policies (LSP) for Electrical Isolation, Guarding of Dangerous Machinery, Managing Change, Permit to Work, and Process and Mechanical Isolation.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations regarding hazardous waste procedures.
• Effectively train new Line Technicians.
• Visually inspect parts for defects, damage, and proper segregation.
• Handle, identify, and segregate non-conforming products.
• Manage substrate skids, cartons, and boxes.
• Maintain lot number identities of parts.
• Perform duties to support production flow and participate in housekeeping and 5S activities.

Requirements for the role:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in PC skills, including MS Office.
