Job summary

Sheffield Pharmaceuticals, LLC is seeking production workers from entry level to line lead positions across all 3 shifts in New London, CT. You will join the filling department, performing packing, loading, basic inspection, and machine operation with on-the-job training.

No prior experience is required, but pride in quality work and a strong work ethic are essential. Safety and quality are emphasized throughout daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Fill, pack, load components into machines, and perform basic inspection.

Production Worker - entry level up to Line Lead positions available** All 3 Shifts

Our wellness and first aid products include a variety of creams and ointments, nasal products, and toothpaste all made in the USA since 1850.

We are currently seeking ambitious production workers with a strong desire to produce quality work and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. If you are a serious worker with a strong work ethic and a sense of pride in your work, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform required assignments in filling department not limited to; packing, loading components into semi-automated/automated machines, basic inspection, and basic machine operation as directed.
• Perform 30 minute inspections to ensure all quality procedures are being followed.
• Ensure production line is running to meet production goals.
• Meet the company standard of speed working every position of the production line.
• Keep work area clean.
• Assistance with cleaning production equipment as needed.
• Responsible for scrap counts.
• Adherence to all applicable regulations, company policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Other assigned tasks as necessary assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

We are looking for people who are willing to work hard, and like to be challenged. While you do not need specific experience, we do expect pride in quality work, and a strong work ethic.

• Great opportunity to begin a career in Manufacturing - will train. Previous experience not required.
• Must be able to follow work instructions and accurately, and complete all required documentation.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds consistently and throughout an entire shift.
• Attendance is important! Must be willing to commit to being at work and on time for your shift.

Pay: $16.94/hour, plus 15% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
