Job summary

PHA Alabama is seeking a Production Team Leader to coordinate activities of a production line, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. The role includes directing team members, rotating tasks, and providing information to the production supervisor to maintain smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree or equivalent with solid attendance, ethical standards, and strong communication. This position is non-exempt and located at PHA Alabama.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills required: Knowledge of basic computer operations.
• Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance record; act in an ethical and professional manner at all times.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operations within the line are running to standard at all times.
• Enters efficiency and downtime data into the database system daily.
• Directs activities and assigns work to all team members.
• Ensures team members are cross trained and rotating among jobs at set intervals.
• Facilitates training for new team members and conducts shift start-up meetings.
• Maintains material flow and reports line performance numbers to the supervisor.
