Job summary

Bright Innovation Labs, a growing contract manufacturer in New Albany, OH, is looking for a Production Line Lead to guide a shift on the factory floor. You will supervise line employees, enforce GMPs, and ensure adherence to SOPs while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

In this role, you’ll coach the team, monitor production targets, and collaborate with maintenance and QA to sustain efficient operations and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to motivate others and maintain a positive team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math proficiency and understanding of manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow and enforce directions.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment and line processes.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety procedures and GMPs.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Oversee production and packing according to specs.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to team members.
• Ensure safety and productivity of all employees on the line.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Report incidents and injuries.
• Prepare written reports on workplace injuries.
• Communicate with supervisors, mechanics, and QA staff.
• Perform related duties as needed.
