Job summary

ProStaff Workforce Solutions in Ridgefield, NJ is seeking an experienced Production Line Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations, coordinate a team, monitor quality and safety, and keep production on schedule, while driving continuous improvements.

You will implement quality checks, optimize workflow, train new employees, track production metrics, ensure accurate inventory logging in the ERP system, and maintain equipment to meet targets, reporting to management.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years manufacturing/production experience.
• 1–2 years leadership experience in manufacturing.
• 1–2 years experience with quality control processes.
• Understand basic machine parameters, resets and start-up/shut down procedures.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Production Line Lead to support daily manufacturing operations at our Ridgefield, NJ facility. In this role, you will lead production activities, coordinate team members, monitor quality and production performance, and help ensure operations run safely and efficiently.

Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $18-$22/hr

Shifts:
1st shift - 7 AM - 3:30 PM
2nd shift, 3:30 PM - 12 AM

A Brief Overview

Oversees production line operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with quality and safety standards. The Manufacturing Line Lead is responsible for coordinating team efforts, optimizing workflow, and maintaining equipment to support the achievement of production targets.

What you will do

• Implements quality control checks to ensure product standards.

• Responsible for logging accurate transactions within our Inventory Management System/Epicor to ensure all components and finished goods are accounted for.
• Facilitates communication between production and management teams.
• Keeps inventory of necessary materials to minimize downtime.
• Complete Safety for Life Inspection Form
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and cGMP standards.

Experience Qualifications

• 1-2 years Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• 1-2 years Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 1-2 years Experience in a leadership role within manufacturing.
• 1-2 years Experience with quality control processes.
• Understand basic machine parameters, resets, and sage start-up/shut down procedures
