Location: West Chester, OH
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift (7 AM - 3 PM) Monday - Friday 2nd Shift (3 PM - 11 PM) Monday - Friday 3rd Shift (11 PM - 7 AM) Sunday - Thursday

Job Duties

• Supervisory Responsibilities Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Duties/Responsibilities Ensure work order is present with 1st piece approval and check line prior to packing.
• Understand all work order instructions on how to pack and/or sub-assemble components prior to packing the job.
• Ensure proper components and packaging are placed on the line when restocking the line during production.
• Understand label placement when applicable during packing process.
• Perform 20-minute line checks per our guidelines and sign off that these were performed.
• Keep the immediate work area neat, orderly, and safe for line workers.
• Responsible for line clearance upon completion of a job and perform replenishment to be sent to fulfillment; ensure final production numbers are met per the work order.
• Responsible for the correct packing and labeling of in-process and finished product.
• Ensure all employees follow GMPs when on the line.
• Set goals for the employees per the finishing schedule to ensure daily expectations are met.
• Ensure work is being done properly or ask questions if unsure.
• Ensure all paperwork and FTE are filled out correctly and proper tracking is left on the line at the end of the shift.
• Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, case making, labeling operations, and sorting to help achieve daily goals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Must work safely following all safety rules and regulations.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have exceptional leadership qualities and able to problem solve and assist with supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to read and understand written instruction and be able to carry them out.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Line Lead.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
