Quality Precast Solutions, LLC in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Production Leadman to guide a precast crew in daily production, ensuring high-quality concrete products in a stable, indoor setting. Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in concrete manufacturing or steel reinforcing.
• Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and technical data.
• Basic math skills for dimensions and efficiency metrics.
• Experience leading a small team in a physical environment.
• English/Spanish bilingual communication across teams.
• willingness for overtime hours (approx. 10 hrs OT weekly).

Responsibilities

• Direct daily plant operations by assigning work and balancing crew labor across forms.
• Verify form setups, reinforcement placement, embeds, and dimensions against drawings.
• Enforce plant safety, OSHA requirements, and PPE usage.
• Oversee concrete placement, finishing, and curing with QC staff.
• Mentor, train, and onboard team members to foster a productive shop.
• Coordinate routine checks and safe operation of cranes and forklifts.
• Maintain an organized, efficient, safe production environment.

You will serve as a crucial hands-on floor leader, guiding a daily precast production crew to deliver high-quality concrete products. How You Will Make An Impact

• Direct daily plant operations by assigning work, balancing crew labor across forms, and resolving production bottlenecks.
• Verify form setups, reinforcement placement, embeds, and dimensions against shop drawings prior to every pour.
• Enforce strict plant safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and correct PPE usage across the entire production floor.
• Oversee proper concrete placement, consolidation, finishing, and curing alongside Quality Control personnel.
• Mentor, train, and onboard team members to foster a positive, productive, and highly skilled shop environment.
• Coordinate routine checks and maintain safe operation of plant equipment including overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Maintain an organized, clean plant facility to ensure maximum efficiency and safe daily output.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience in concrete manufacturing or steel reinforcing.
• Proven ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, technical data, and standard tape measures.
• Strong basic mathematical skills necessary for checking dimensions and evaluating labor efficiency metrics.
• Practical experience leading, managing, or supervising a small team in a physical work environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate across teams.
• Willingness to work dirty, lead by example, and commit to consistent overtime hours as required.(average 10 hours of OT Weekly)

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of related work experience in concrete manufacturing or steel reinforcing.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Background in developing new production processes and implementing continuous improvement ideas.
• Familiar with OSHA Standards
