Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Corrugator Supervisor to lead safe, efficient shift operations, drive production targets, monitor KPIs and coach a team of operators.

You will coordinate with maintenance and other departments to meet daily goals, implement continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a lean environment and process improvement.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Proven problem-solving ability and results track record.

• Ability to coach and train frontline staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day shift operations with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Act as first contact for operators on mechanical or production issues.
• Support continuous improvement and enforce production controls.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to meet goals.
• Monitor KPIs and work to reduce waste and meet schedules.
• Input production data to measure efficiency, downtime and inventory.
• Recommend safety, environmental and health improvements.
• Produce daily shift production reports and reviews.
• Control load factors and maximize capacity and labor use.
• Coach and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Recruit, orient, train staff and support growth opportunities.
• Direct maintenance to troubleshoot problems and perform preventive work.
• Enforce plant safety regulations and drive safety-conscious behavior.
• Ensure adherence to standards and commitments with customers.
