Job summary

Faurecia in the United States (Spring Hill, TN) seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on the shop floor. You will monitor QCDP metrics, drive improvement projects, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across shifts.

The role requires strong teamwork, practical knowledge of lean methods, and the ability to manage headcount and training. You will report to the UAP manager and collaborate with GAP Leaders to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Production experience.
• Familiarity with Kanban, 5S, Hoshin, TPM and related production methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QCD indicators reflect customer expectations.
• Define QCDP targets with supervisors and the UAP manager (ppm, pph, TRS, absenteeism, accidents, improvement ideas).
• Monitor performance during the shift and report data at the end of the shift.
• Manage resources to reach results and adapt headcount to volume.
• React to problems with containment, call support functions, and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead improvement actions, drive Problem Solving Groups and workshops (5S, Hoshin, TPM, SMED, 8 Quality Basics).
• Ensure standardized work audits are conducted daily and corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain 30% of time dedicated to improvement actions.
• Oversee discipline, HSE compliance, and proper information flow to the team.
