Job summary

IPEX by Aliaxis, located at the Kingman, Arizona plant, is seeking a Production Manager to lead all production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing while partnering with Maintenance, Quality, Health & Safety, and other cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or manufacturing or equivalent
• 5+ years of progressive production leadership experience in manufacturing
• Experience leading teams and talent development
• Lean manufacturing experience; Six Sigma is a plus
• Strong knowledge of production planning and quality systems

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to safely deliver customer requirements while optimizing productivity, quality, inventory levels, labor utilization, and manufacturing costs
• Drive operational excellence through production planning, performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction
• Analyze production metrics, downtime, and operational results to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and environmental, health, and safety requirements, while championing a culture of safety and continuous improvement
• Oversee the management of raw materials, packaging materials, regrind, and non-hazardous waste in accordance with facility procedures
• Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and plant employees through performance management, training, succession planning, talent development, and recruitment activities
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, HSE, and other cross-functional teams to achieve production objectives and improve operational performance
• Lead and sustain initiatives such as Lean manufacturing practices and 5S programs to maintain an organized, efficient, and high-performing workplace
• Manage departmental budgets and expenditures and provide operational reporting to support business decisions
