Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Rogers, AR facility to lead daily production activities and ensure adherence to global standards.

You will coordinate staffing, tooling, EHS compliance, and quality controls to meet aggressive production targets. The role requires directing cross-functional teams, optimizing resources, and implementing lean initiatives to reduce costs and improve on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of relevant work experience.
• BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Lean / 6 Sigma certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise functional or operational area that directly supports the execution of tactical objectives.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on the manufacturing floor.
• Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demand and production targets.
• Supervise production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize production output.
• Training and development, EHS compliance.
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate production activities and resolve issues.
• Ensure customer satisfaction needs are met - lead time, on-time delivery, quality of product.
• Maintain proper manpower levels and develop people.
• Reduce costs through lean and Six Sigma programs.
• Oversee departmental audits like ISO, QMS, etc.
• Develop team, manage shopfloor discipline, obtain timely approvals.
