Job summary

RENA Technologies North America is seeking a Production Manager to oversee production processes, optimize efficiency, and ensure quality standards. You will review performance, manage headcount and equipment, and collaborate with other departments to set ambitious production goals.

You will lead weekly scheduling, drive continuous improvement, maintain safety and compliance with EPA/OSHA, and mentor leads and staff while maintaining cost controls.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 5 years in a manufacturing leadership role, or 10 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with Wet Bench Manufacturing a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proven record in training employees about safety and production.
• Knowledge of EPA & OSHA regulations.
• Ability to coach and motivate employees.
• Balance of people management with technical/business aspects.
• Understanding of manufacturing, quality, warehouse and inventory practices.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• Technical skills in hydraulics and electrical in industrial equipment.
• Ability to analyze financial issues; prepare documentation for proposals.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production activities to meet quality, productivity, efficiency, capacity, safety, cost control, and customer service targets.
• Evaluate and improve operations of machinery and tools; lead the team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Ensure timely completion of responsibilities; apply problem-solving and critical thinking to resolve issues.
• Provide strategic direction for manufacturing activities; champion continuous improvement in productivity and quality.
• Set short- and long-term production goals; manage headcount and capacity for labor cost control.
• Develop and lead weekly production schedule; coach leads and hourly staff.
• Foster positive team relations, annual operating plans, and capital requirements.
