Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field; 3-5 years production experience.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Strong computer proficiency including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; ERP/MRP preferred.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and CI; Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Strong problem solving, facilitation and communication skills.
• Regular attendance on company premises.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Production Supervisor and direct work to meet policies and schedules.
• Coach and develop team members; drive safety, quality, customer satisfaction, productivity and cost control.
• Review labor needs and backlog; help prepare monthly manufacturing plan and flash reports.
• Strategically review headcount, capacity and scheduling to meet demand.
• Monitor performance and provide recognition, feedback and corrective action.
• Manage production orders and inventory accuracy; ensure schedule adherence.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and material problems with Quality/Engineering/PM and others.
• Support Quality Management System and lead root cause analyses for improvements.
• Foster a culture of active caring, teamwork and two-way communication.
