Job summary

Worthington Enterprises is seeking a Production Leader to guide and support manufacturing teams on 2nd or 3rd shift. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement to make a real impact on daily operations.

The position leads daily production activities, trains and schedules team members, and ensures accurate reporting while driving Lean initiatives. Eligible candidates should be able to work hands-on with machinery and hold forklift certification or obtain it.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Hands-on with machinery and inspection tools.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of safety practices including Lockout/Tagout.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Support training, development, and scheduling of team members.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and assign work in supervisor's absence.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and drive effective solutions.
• Ensure accurate production reporting and efficient use of resources.
• Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
