Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a production engineer to drive KPI attainment and optimize production sequencing in a dynamic, global automotive context. The role emphasizes coordinating resources, maintaining infrastructure, and implementing process improvements across multiple projects.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in production engineering, with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work without sponsorship in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper application of methods, guidelines and procedures to achieve KPIs agreed.
  • Contribute to or ensure fine-scheduling and sequencing of production orders.
  • Confirm or approve production orders and allocate own operations resources accordingly.
  • Ensure availability of production infrastructure (tools, maintenance services, set up operations, etc.).
  • Propose procedural or organizational changes to contribute to improvements in QCD.

Your Key Responsibilities

Required
Your Qualifications

Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results.
  • Experience of working in a high-paced automotive manufacturing environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions.
