Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related field experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet) is required.
• An acceptable combination of education and experience is also acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor team leads; coordinate day-to-day production needs and scheduling.
• Perform and assign daily duties according to production schedules for all department staff.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to prevent production delays.
• Train, audit, and ensure adherence to standard work and training guides; address quality issues.
• Promote safety, quality, continuous improvement, and LEAN practices.
• Ensure equipment is safe and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Act as Production Supervisor in their absence.
• Assist in the hiring process and mentor staff.
• Ensure quality inspections align with the Steffes Quality Management System.
• Maintain a positive, collaborative work atmosphere with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
