Job summary

Huhtamaki in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations on site. You will oversee safety, quality, and production throughput while partnering with maintenance, QA, and engineering to optimize processes.

The role requires strong leadership of production staff, implementation of continuous improvement programs, and adherence to GMPs and company policies. A technical degree and 7+ years of manufacturing experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; 7+ years related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Production floor experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience in managing production personnel and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety environment and eliminate unsafe conditions and practices.
• Enforce GMPs and company policies; govern production and quality standards.
• Coordinate production with Maintenance, Tooling, Materials, and QA to maximize throughput and quality.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and revise production schedules as needed.
• Oversee staffing, training, performance reviews, and discipline for the department.
• Drive improvement projects and lead production-based programs.
