Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Production Lead to oversee key production equipment, provide training, and support troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly.

You will guide a team to meet Safety, Quality, Production and Cost goals, operate and maintain fryers, packaging and labeling machines, coordinate changeovers, and work with maintenance to quickly resolve equipment issues. This role requires hands-on leadership in a rotating schedule.

Formación

• Experience leading manufacturing teams and driving safety, quality, and cost goals.
• Ability to train team members and ensure equipment operation.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with packaging/labeling equipment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Guide team to achieve Safety, Quality, Production, and Cost goals.
• Operate and maintain key production equipment (fryers, packaging, seasoning machines, printers, labelers).
• Collaborate with maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Train new and existing team members.
• Execute shift production schedule, including start-ups, changeovers and shutdowns.
• Monitor product quality and ensure GMP compliance.
• Provide coverage for vacancies as needed.
• Work cross-functionally with operators, maintenance, and supervisors.
