Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC seeks a Production Lead to oversee key production equipment, train staff, and support troubleshooting efforts. You will lead a team to meet Safety, Quality, Production, and Cost goals in a fast-paced snack manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to operate and maintain fryers, packaging, seasoning, printers, and labelers, and collaboration with maintenance to resolve issues. Rotating schedule included.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, preferably in food production.
• Ability to lead a team and meet production goals.
• Willingness to operate and maintain key production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Guide team to achieve Safety, Quality, Production, and Cost goals.
• Operate and maintain fryers, packaging, seasoning, printers, and labelers.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues with Maintenance.
• Train new and existing team members to operate equipment.
• Support start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns.
• Monitor product quality and ensure GMP compliance.
• Provide coverage for vacancies as needed.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.
