Job summary

NOVO Health Services, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and train the assigned team in a linen management facility. The role focuses on achieving high quality, safety, and productivity standards while meeting department goals.

You will conduct annual reviews, oversee training, participate in hiring, coach associates, manage records, and collaborate with other departments to optimize resources and processes for KPI improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty.
• Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Strong customer service, leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and train the assigned production team.
• Motivate the team to meet departmental goals with quality and safety.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and oversee training.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring recommendations.
• Provide coaching to associates to improve performance.
• Maintain personnel records, reports, and attendance.
• Build relationships with other department leaders to optimize resources.
• Implement processes to improve KPIs like quality and safety.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on production efficiency.
• Develop and enforce written procedures and training.
• Monitor production and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain high levels of maintenance on equipment and organize reporting.
• Handle special assignments as needed.
• Plan safety meetings for teams to ensure standards.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
