Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a First Shift Production Supervisor to lead frontline production operations, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and people development in a fast-paced industrial environment.

You will directly supervise 20–60 hourly associates, coach and develop staff, enforce safety policies, and partner with maintenance, quality, and plant leadership to drive improvements and ensure consistent service to our healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production supervision or industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Proven experience leading hourly teams and supporting employee development.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production associates to promote engagement, accountability, and teamwork.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and Novo standards.
• Maintain a strong safety-first culture and proactively address hazards and unsafe behaviors.
• Ensure production schedules are met while optimizing labor utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Monitor quality standards to ensure products meet Novo and customer requirements.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Plant Leadership to address operational issues and improve performance.
• Support onboarding, training, and performance management of production staff.
