Job summary

Vestis Corporation is seeking a production supervisor to oversee a designated production area in a fast-paced laundry environment. You will ensure safety policies are followed, train staff, and coordinate with plant leadership to meet production and profitability goals.

The role requires managing daily activities, maintaining positive employee relations, and implementing process improvements for efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Capability to work safely and in a fast-paced, loud environment with machinery.
• Proven record of good work attendance.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Basic math reasoning skills.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 300 pounds (assisted).

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned production area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Monitor activities and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Train new and existing employees on safe production practices.
• Attend departmental/market center meetings and support training.
• Develop positive employee relations and enforce policies consistently.
• Identify production improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Lead adherence to market center standardization for safety and goals.
• Supervise department areas, directly or through Leads.
