Job summary

Vestis in Lexington, KY is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities in a fast-paced laundry environment. You will supervise a small team, ensure safety policies are followed, train staff, and drive continuous improvement.

This role requires strong attendance, reading skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; experience in industrial laundry is preferred. The position is on-site at our Lexington facility.

Qualifications

• Capable of reading and understanding work instructions in English.
• Basic Math reasoning skills.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds; Push/Pull up to 300 pounds assisted.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, loud environment with machinery.
• Proven attendance record.
• Two years industrial laundry experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversees assigned area of production responsibility as scheduled in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitors work activities in assigned area and ensures company safety policies are followed.
• Trains new and existing employees on safe and efficient production practices.
• Attends departmental and market center meetings to engage and complete education and training.
• Develops and maintains positive employee relations and enforces policies across the work group.
• Identifies and recommends production improvement strategies to enhance equipment and worker performance
