Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in supervision or leadership.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma familiarity is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and production management software (ERP/MES).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a production team to meet targets on time and within budget.
• Adjust production schedules to meet demand and optimize throughput.
• Assign tasks and clarify roles for each shift.
• Provide coaching and conduct performance reviews to drive productivity and quality.
• Ensure quality control throughout production and address defects with corrective actions.
• Promote safety, enforce PPE use, and monitor OSHA compliance.
• Manage materials, inventory levels, and coordinate with supply chain to prevent shortages.
• Prepare reports on production metrics and communicate status to management.
• Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and logistics to resolve issues.
