Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Neenah, WI is seeking a production supervisor to lead daily manufacturing activities, ensure quality, and manage staffing and schedules.

You will train team members, drive safety and efficiency initiatives, and partner with other shifts to meet customer demands. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred, with 2+ years supervisory manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Two (2) years of related experience is required; Two (2) or more years of related experience is preferred.
• Basic decision making and problem solving skills.
• Basic supervision and team building skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
• Basic data analysis and presentation skills.
• General office equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

• Assign work assignments based on daily department needs, ensure quality products are produced and achieve department metrics.
• Conduct people leader activities which may include approving time off, conducting performance appraisals, coaching and disciplinary action and maintaining company policies and procedures.
• Communicate both written and orally the daily schedules, goals, quality issues/concerns to employees, other shifts, and support staff including supervisors and managers to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Ensure individuals are trained to the appropriate assembly build instructions and ensures personnel are compliant with all applicable training requirements.
• Support and lead improvement initiatives and participates actively to improve work environment including safety, cleanliness, product quality and efficiency.
