Job summary

NuProduce Solutions is seeking a Lead Hand in Bowling Green, OH to supervise and train our production teams, ensuring fresh produce products are prepared to high standards for foodservice customers. The ideal candidate will lead the department, provide coaching, maintain equipment, ensure GMPs and SOPs, and work closely with supervisors to ensure safety and efficiency across

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a production team.
• Track record in training and coaching staff.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Experience in a food processing facility is required.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Experience working in refrigerated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead department within production lines to complete daily duties.
• Provide training for new team members.
• Coach and support production staff.
• Monitor and maintain vertical form filler equipment.
• Ensure documentation and checks are completed during shifts.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and GMPs are adhered to.
• Coordinate with Supervisors to maintain equipment and sanitation.
• Support colleagues and work to improve yield.
• Uphold health & safety policies and participate in related duties.
