Job summary

Verus Aerospace, LLC is seeking a Production Lead who will operate CNC and manual mills and lathes, ensuring quality and safety while maintaining records and coordinating tooling activities. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of journey-level milling experience, Bridgeport and manual lathe skills, and familiarity with GD&T and blueprint reading.

Airspace industry experience is preferred, with strong math and geometry abilities and the capacity to read and follow work orders in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Aerospace industry experience is preferred.
• Certification from an accredited technical college is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual mills and lathes while ensuring quality and safety.
• Maintain records and manage equipment and supplies; plan tooling activities.
• Place material/tool requisitions and coordinate tooling priorities.
• Read blueprints and interpret drawings and specifications.

Salary Range: $39.96 To $45.96 Hourly

Position Summary

The Production Lead is a working lead with the ability to perform complex setups and skillfully operate CNC and manual mills and lathes-while maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment and supplies. Must possess technical knowledge such as drawing and spec interpretation. Responsible for placing requisitions for material and tools and planning/coordinating all tooling activities and priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be an experienced machinist with at least 3-years experience working at journey level

• Bridgeport and manual lathe machining experience required.
• Expertise in CNC or Profile
• Working familiarity with shop planning/tooling
• Experience/knowledge applicable to fixturing/tooling applications
